A very NOISY Storytime (or two)
Book possibilities ( Lots of great choices here. I may do a two week noisy theme so I can showcase these books):
The Little Little Girl with the Big Big Voice by Kristen Balouch Meeow and the Pots and Pans by Sebastien Braun Fiddle-I-Fee by Santiago Cohen Dog's Noisy Day by Emma Dodd Shout! Shout It Out! by Denise Fleming Boom, Boom Go Away! by Laura Geringer, Illus. by Bagram Ibatouline The Squeaky Door retold by Margaret Read MacDonald, Illus. by Mary Newell DePalma Achoo! Bang! The Noisy Alphabet by Ross MacDonald The Noisy Farm by Marni McGee, Illus. by Leonie Shearing Crash Bang Donkey! by Jill Newton The Noisy Counting Book by Susan Schade & Jon Buller Noisy Nora by Rosemary Wells Noisy Barn by Harriet Ziefert & Simms Taback
We sang "Fiddle-I-Fee."
If you don't know the tune, here is a darling Youtube video of it . This is not from our library. See what a great job these kids did:
We also sang:
If you're ____ and you know it make some noise
If you're ____ and you know it make some noise
If you're ____ and you know it, then your noise will surely show it,
If you're ____ and you know it make some noise
We used Tarzan, a fire truck, a thunderstorm, a train, an alarm clock, etc.
