by Emily Gravett.I’m ever the fan of Gravett’s picture books and I adore this new one as well! Poor chameleon is lonely and looking for a friend. Therefore, the lizard physically mimics anything it meets in hope of striking up a friendship. Humorous and sweet pictures show it trying to impress a cockatoo, a western boot, a banana and more before another chameleon appears. This would be a fun storytime read to point out colors and have the kids pretend to be each of chameleon’s would-be chums.
